WRITER’S COACH

I can help bring your words from the page to the public.  

As a three time author and board member of the Writer’s Trust and Writer’s Union of Canada, I am familiar with the Canadian  literary scene, what it takes to get published and how to open the door.  I am also a longtime leadership coach with a unique ability to hone in on someone’s essence and help translate that into authentic voice. 

I support authors who are at the Manuscript stage.  I work in any genre.  I especially value the voices of underrepresented authors.  

I will offer strategic developmental advice on the MS, help you decide whether to go with an agent or direct to publisher (and which ones if so), how to draft the perfect book proposal and help with proof reading to get your book pitch ready.  

Costs depend on whether you want a basic structural edit of your Manuscript, or a more in-depth one, whether you want to develop the book proposal in addition to the Manuscript, etc.  Developmental edit of manuscript with a coaching feedback session starts at $1.5k.
